Document storage and organization

Store critical documents in a secure repository, and organize them into categories to provide multiple views of information. Each document can have multiple categories associated with it as well as private flags for personal classification.

Roles based access control

InnovationQ provides strong and secure access controls in both repositories and workflows. Roles allow for fine-grained control over all system functions. Users can access information and perform tasks assigned to their individual roles.

Legal Safeguarding

This feature creates and publishes digital fingerprints of critical documents. Fingerprints are based on the content of any type of file using well-established security algorithms. These are then published in IP.com’s Prior Art Database verifying that the content existed at a particular date and time. Legal Safeguarding allows you to prove prior art and protect against trade secret misappropriation.

Full text search

InnovationQ deploys a full text indexing and search engine that allows you to find critical information from across the entire platform. You can bookmark searches that you perform regularly, reducing repetitive activities.

Document event tracking

Every event associated with a document, in either a repository or a workflow process, is tracked and complete history is maintained. This allows for extensive reporting, the ability to see important trends, and helps detect misuse of intellectual property assets.

Document review

Reading through long lists of documents can be inefficient and time consuming. InnovationQ solves this problem by providing the ability to see a small part of a document from lists of documents generated through searches or category queries. This "peek" capability also helps when you only want to reveal a small part of a document to someone.

User tagging

Categorizing documents globally helps teams to organize information across an enterprise. Tagging documents individually allows users to access information based on their specific needs. InnovationQ’s flagging feature allows users to organize their information according to their needs.

Support for Multiple Languages

InnovationQ is software designed for today’s global corporations. It allows storing, searching, and managing documents provided in any Unicode-compliant language. In addition, the system also has resource-based translatable interface capabilities. If required, customized language translations can be arranged.

Document event alerts

When key events occur, InnovationQ does not wait for you to login. Instead, it alerts you to any actions that need to be taken through event-based e-mails. The system can also be configured to send daily, weekly, and monthly reports on activities that are important to you.
